ARTS & CULTURE | JACOB'S PILLOW

Jacob's Pillow is an internationally recognized dance festival in Becket Massachusetts that houses the oldest running archive of dance in the country. better_ was engaged to develop a curated and socially relevant portal for deep-dive virtual exploration of archival material. better_ is working with nearly thirty scholars and historians to contextualize this rich history for dance enthusiasts around the world. Outputs of this project include a series of long-form essays, augmented by embedded archival media, found in the Pillow's online portal: https://danceinteractive.jacobspillow.org/themes- essays/ .

Additionally we developed PillowVoices, a podcast that features luminaries of the field - in their own voices - captured through talks and presentations at Jacob's Pillow over the past 80+ years.
